I don't know who you are, and you never give an indication, but your level of dedication and deep dives into the data on this topic is admirable.

Absolutely. That stupid OKCupid survey from over a decade ago when hardly anyone was on it...it will never die, just like Leonardo DiCaprio as a meme (that one's been going on more like 20+ years now). But yes, the effort put into these posts, with zero efforts at self promotion seemingly, is quite astonishing.

Correct me if you think I'm wrong, but I believe height has an impact on income. Therefore, maybe short kings are breeding more because poor people, in general, breed more. But regarding the Dutch data, it seems like being taller gives you a better chance of living a "normal" life, with 2-4 kids being normal.

Right, I also mentioned a similar association with intelligence. There are studies which control for its association with income/education though (e.g. Stulp et al., 2012a) and the effect doesn't tend to change meaningfully.

*Yawn*. Wake me up when you have a study with samples taken after 2015, after American went woke, became addicted to the internet, and started to rely primarily on dating apps to meet the opposite sex.

Until then, the incel narrative will remain fortified.

You can look at the rest of his articles which include analysis of survey data from the past few years.

I will say it’s probably just true that shorter men tend to do worse on dating apps, but OPs written thousands of words on this and his analysis suggests the impact cant be that significant. Check out it out for yourself.

'First, the sheer number of average-height individuals naturally inflates their absolute contribution to offspring numbers'

None of this data refers to absolute numbers of children.

Take your chatgpt garbage that doesn't address the substance of the article elsewhere.

It feels like the whole thing was a generic chatgpt response as it doesn't seem connected to the article at all.

People weren't typically lumped into broad categories like that; there are graphs you can see where the offspring number is shown by inches or cms.

People having partners who aren't too dissimilar in height was actually mentioned in the explanation section.

There are studies controlling for income/education, including here, and this doesn't meaningfully affect the results.

I will respond dismissively and bitchily as I want to a low effort comment which doesn't suggest you even read the article.
